President and Chief Executive Officer
Mark Cochran understands that people can’t make good financial decisions if they are struggling to meet the basic needs of life. That’s why one of his goals as President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union is to promote the overall well being of members and the communities in which they live. With that in mind, he has initiated and supports a wide variety of financial education and life skills programs taught in several languages, including Spanish and Khmer. To make access easier, the classes and seminars are often brought directly to residents in community centers, schools and senior centers throughout the region.
One of Mark’s priorities is to assist those who are unaware of how financial systems work. By making the processes more transparent and understandable, Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union makes it easier for members to make wise financial decisions. In turn, by learning and practicing sound financial habits, members are able to establish a more secure future and work toward making their dreams become realities.
Financial literacy is beneficial to people of all ages, which is why Mark is adamant about offering products and programs that serve everyone – from preschoolers to high school students and young adults to senior citizens. He puts his education and expertise to use each day by leading the charge in Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union’s mission of helping members and giving back to the community.
